What to Expect

If you are considering visiting, you probably have a few questions. Visiting a new church can be a little intimidating. Will I be accepted? Will I know anyone there? What do they believe? Etc.

The main thing you should know about us is, that we are a warm and friendly group that will try and make you feel like family. Everyone is glad to see you and you may receive a hug or two.

More things to expect...

* We have a full band with drums, guitars, keyboard, and vocals.

* You can expect your children to be well taught and cared for.

* You can expect to sense the presence of God in worship.

* You can expect to be moved by a practical message from the Word of God.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a dress code? No. You’re invited to come as you are and be comfortable. You will see people worshipping in jeans and T-shirts and others in fancier clothes. We’re more interested in getting to know the person inside than what you wear on the outside.

Do you have a children’s ministry? Yes. We have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and Jr. Church every Sunday.

Which branch of the Presbyterian Church do you belong to? Plumtree Church is affiliated with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. To learn more about how that differs from the other branches of the Presbyterian church go to www.epc.org.

We also have a relationship with the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening.

What area of the church would I be of most use? We at Plumtree believe in activating the body of Christ (Eph. 4:12). We also believe in knowing those who labor among us (1 Thes. 5:12). The Word of God says in 1 Timothy 3:10, that the Deacons must first be tested. In the same way, we want to get to know you first and test and see where your gifts and talents lie before we activate you directly into ministry.
